Project Manager                                   

Regenis is seeking an experienced Project Manager, in the Twin Falls, Idaho area, to supervise and manage all aspects of anaerobic digester and Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) or renewable electricity project engineering, procurement, construction, and startup to ensure multiple technologies and processes are designed and constructed to work together seamlessly upon project completion. Works with stakeholders, engineers, vendors, clients, and internal team to produce projects that perform as designed while being built on time and on budget.

Job Description:

  • Manage the estimating process, scope review, and budget preparation.
  • Perform and/or manage process engineering tasks such as conceptual process design, equipment sizing, and process documentation preparation.
  • Review and analyze equipment vendor quotes and deliverables to ensure that equipment is designed and sized appropriately to work in the desired application and fits within the overall project needs.
  • Identify and resolve gaps in vendor-supplied equipment, controls, and materials.
  • Identify areas of project that require third party engineering.
  • Select and manage third party engineering services to ensure that permitting and construction requirements will be met.
  • Use vendor-supplied information, third party engineering, and process engineering practices to produce a final project design and plan package for a project that can meet permitting and code requirements and then be successfully constructed and operated in the field.
  • Proactively plan outcome of projects.
    • Schedules resources for on time completion
    • Communicates with project owner regularly throughout the full project cycle.
    • Understands scope and quality requirements – communicates to Site Superintendent
    • Ensures information and materials are provided in a timely manner for a successful project.
    • Review contract for project requirements and scope clarification
    • Identify risks throughout project, develop mitigation plans and implement.
    • Identify and follow through on efficiency opportunities.
    • Identify and follow through on change orders.
  • Ensure daily and weekly project records are being kept.
  • Complete monthly billings and financial forecasting on time.
  • Approve payroll and invoices in a timely fashion.
  • Keep Construction Manager informed of project status, risks, and successes.
  • Participate in planning and forecasting meetings as part of the leadership team.
  • Responsible for the entire project including design input, estimating, process engineering, scheduling, ordering material, layout, billing, contract management, project meetings, closeout, commissioning, and O&M manuals.
  • Provide leadership throughout the project to meet the needs of the field crews, clients, subcontractors, schedule, and financial goals.
  • Direct communication with the Project Owner, Project Superintendent and Subcontractors as required to satisfy manpower needs, schedules, change orders and documentation typical to project size and need.
  • Effectively communicate with the Construction Manager about any personnel issues, project details, cost analysis, project estimates, lessons learned, achievements and goals.
  • Provide relevant input and participate in the Site Superintendent review process.

Qualifications:

  • BA or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • PMP certification a plus
  • Project Management Experience in industrial construction up to $30 million in value
  • Knowledge of RNG processes and technologies to produce biogas and convert biogas to pipeline quality natural gas.
  • Experience with design and construction of equipment and piping used to produce, process, and/or transport biogas, biomethane, or RNG.
  • Able to identify material savings and labor efficiencies that affect the profitability of the project.
  • Ability to properly analyze and assess technologies and equipment that are new or in development stages to gauge potential for successful integration into projects or processes.
  • Ability to manage the design of piping systems used to convey biogas, natural gas, manure slurry, as well as water used for heating/cooling.
  • Knowledge of current market conditions, trends, job cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting
  • Working understanding and use of all Regenis and project related documents necessary to facilitate design development through construction and project completion.
  • Complete or ensure completion of all safety documentation including daily reports, Job Hazard Analysis, and weekly safety meetings.
  • Ability to interact with coworkers, contractors, vendors, sub-contractors, and management, providing a positive, professional influence for all involved.
  • Complete understanding of Regenis company policies and procedures
  • Responsive to inter-company personnel
  • Computer literate with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), eCMS, Bluebeam, Auto CAD
  • Accurately key-board at least 30 wpm
